1 day, 1 venue, 5 workshops, more motivation, greater employability

I’m very happy to be able to announce the full line up for January 27th’s series of graduate employability workshops. Having them on one day and in one venue (the university campus) should allow you to maximise the value of the time you take to attend. Here’s the line up.

  • 9.30 – 10.15       W1 How volunteering can enhance your employability, Lindsay Topham, Community Action Programme coordinator, Brunel University
  • 10.30 – 11.30      W2 Demystifying job descriptions/adverts, David Gilchrist, careers adviser (and ex graduate recruiter), Brunel University Placement and Career Centre
  • 12:00 – 12:30      W3 Making recruitment agencies work for you, Dan Evans, The Graduate Recruitment Bureau
  • 13:00 – 14:00      W4 Strategies to keep you motivated, Graham Price CEO, Abicord
  • 14:15 – onwards W 5 How to portray yourself effectively in interviews, Raj Dohil, Recruitment Supervisor, Enterprise Rent-A-Car

To reserve a place email me (david.gilchrist@brunel.ac.uk) with the following information and I’ll do the rest:

  • Which workshop(s) you wish to attend, e.g. W2, W4 for the job descriptions and motivation workshops
  • Your old student id
  • A contact phone number
